Everyone must register before setting up at the Emmett Farmers Market!

  1. Even if you qualify for the small seller exemption, this is what you do:

    1. You won’t collect sales tax on sales you make unless your sales reach $5,000.

    2. When you register with the Idaho Tax Commission to sell at an event. Select I am not making taxable sales and enter “Idaho resident small seller” in the Products I am selling field

  2. Even if you already have a  Sales & Use tax number

Scroll down to the Events & Business Box and click on
 Do not sign in
  
Step 2.
Register as a Temporary Seller or Promoter 
Click on Next
Step 3.
Choose “Seller with an event ID”
Click on Next
Step 4.
Enter the Event ID#2093875200

Choose I need a regular permit if you:

Are not registering for an event
Are running a business, large or small, that makes taxable sales
Don’t qualify for the occasional sale or small seller exemption

*After you have your permit, apply for a TAP account so you can file, pay, and view your tax records online.

Pick one: either I am going to an event, or I need a regular permit

Fill in your information

Choose your purpose:
1. I’m not making taxable sales

a. Choose this option if you qualify for the small seller exemption (tax.idaho.gov/smallseller) or Already have a temporary permit for your own sales

2. I have a regular permit
3. I need a temporary permit
Click on Next
 Step 7.
Review your entry 
Click on Submit
Step 8.
Check your email account (Inbox, Junk, and Spam folders) for further instructions and your tax permit. Print a copy for the market from the website, and print one for you from your Gmail.
